Not getting older...getting BETTER!!!

We are getting so much healthier and more in love each!!!!

2012 will be my best year yet. I have NO doubt. 

Christmas 2011 - Family

I have to admit, this past year has been pretty crappy. I'm still grieving over the loss of my momma in late 2010. I found out that I have a rare but yet slow growing cancer and have had one surgery and will find out tomorrow what the next step will be... BUT, in all fairness, LIFE IS GOOD!

Yesterday made me realize just how lucky I am. Family doesn't have to be about blood, it is about people who love you for you. We had a family Christmas with Robyn's family. Now it's no big secret about how I feel about Robyn. She is my best friend and soul mate and I cherish every moment with her, good and bad. I absolutely adore and love her children as if they were my own. Robyn's parents are awesome people and I am thankful they are in my life. Robyn's brother and sister-in-law and their 2 kids are just amazing people. They make me laugh all the time and that is just something that is so important in life.

We had the most awesome day. A great meal, a fun time playing Apple to Apple (and yeah, I do believe I won at least one hand), and had fun watching (making fun) of Robyn and her brother Richy in home videos. It was just a nice day around people that I consider, well, my Family.

I thank God each and every day that he is letting me live the life that I have...the life He has chosen for me. And am so very blessed to say that I was able to spent Christmas with my FAM(ILY).
